JobSearch.Works (JSW) is an AI-powered assistant that applies for jobs on behalf of users, eliminating the need for manual job applications. Our platform automates resume tailoring, form filling, and recruiter email tracking — helping job seekers save hours each week. We’re a volunteer-driven startup, building our MVP and seeking passionate contributors.
Role Overview:
As a JavaScript Developer, you’ll help build our frontend features and Chrome Extension, working with React/Node.js and collaborating with our AI + product teams. This role is ideal for developers wanting real-world startup experience while contributing to an impact-driven project.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain features with JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Node.js)
- Contribute to our Chrome Extension for automated job form filling
- Collaborate on API integrations and new features
- Write clean, maintainable code & participate in Agile teamwork
Requirements:
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js
- Understanding of REST APIs & Git workflows
- Problem-solving mindset & ability to work in a distributed team
Nice to Have:
- Chrome Extension or AI/LLM experience
- Cloud or deployment knowledge
- Startup/volunteer project experience
