Senior Database Administrator

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator to support, optimize, and manage our databases across multiple technologies.

You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and security of mission-critical data systems, working with minimal supervision and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Administer, configure, and optimize Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis databases.
• Manage database provisioning, upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
• Operate and support AWS RDS, including monitoring, backups, failover configuration, and cost optimization.
• Implement and maintain security policies, disaster recovery strategies, and high-availability architectures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support application development, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Troubleshoot database incidents, identify root causes, and propose long-term improvements.Document configurations, procedures, and best practices.

🔧 Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DBA or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Proven expertise with AWS RDS (monitoring, backups, performance tuning, multi-AZ, snapshots, etc.).
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, indexing strategies, and query analysis.
• Experience with high availability, replication, and backup/recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with Linux environments, shell scripting, and automation tools.
• Intermediate/advanced English skills.
