Investment Analyst/Associate - Metaverse Project

Conduct market analysis, and competitor research and stay ahead of market trends.

The company is an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution, built to bring digital assets, NFTs, and blockchain gaming to life. Our mission is to empower digital asset ownership for people and businesses. We are looking for an Investment Analyst or Associate to work with the Investment Director to source new investment opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis, and competitor research and stay ahead of market trends
• Prepare a long-form detailed analysis of investment opportunities and market themes to share publicly and internally
• Assist in due diligence into investment opportunities
• Generate investment ideas, approach investment targets, and drive the investment process throughout the lifecycle with support from the Investment Director
• Work with portfolio companies to improve internal processes and explore areas where the company can add value
• Prepare and review transaction documentation including term sheets, SAFTs, and SAFEs
  
  

Qualifications

• Passionate about gaming and crypto (maybe not both, but certainly an interest would be preferable)
• A natural pitcher and networker
• Ability to research, understand and communicate complex systems (in terms of token economics) through models and long-form content
• Results-oriented and not afraid of long hours, sometimes with tedious tasks
• Availability through all hours – due to the global nature of the business this will not be a 9-5 role
• The ability to travel globally would be preferable
