Job Description
Slow release cycles and error-prone software continue to plague the industry, driven primarily by outdated testing approaches. Conventional QA methodologies, including those with basic automation, consistently fail to identify critical defects early in the development cycle, resulting in expensive delays and dissatisfied end users. Industry reports indicate that more than 60% of software defects are found after release, and quality issues impose a cost exceeding $2 trillion annually on the software sector. Delivering faster, more dependable software requires a fundamental transformation in quality assurance strategy.
IgniteTech is pioneering this transformation by embedding GenAI technology throughout the entire QA lifecycle. We leverage AI to simulate user interactions, produce sophisticated test scenarios, and evaluate defect patterns, enabling accelerated releases with reduced bug counts. Becoming part of our team places you at the leading edge of innovation, where AI is applied to remove inefficiencies and anticipate issues before they emerge.
This position differs significantly from conventional QA roles. If you seek a traditional setting focused on manual test execution or routine automation scripting, this opportunity is not for you. In this role, you will drive the design and advancement of AI-powered test automation frameworks, apply predictive analytics to uncover latent risks, and contribute to defining the next generation of software quality. You will serve as the architect of scalable, adaptive solutions for the challenges of contemporary development—not a participant in an inflexible, legacy workflow. If this aligns with the challenge you have been seeking, submit your application and help shape the future of software engineering.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, implement, and sustain AI-driven test automation frameworks that generate test cases, scripts, and test data for thorough validation
- Apply GenAI tools to evaluate testing results, detect defect patterns, and deliver actionable recommendations for ongoing improvement
- Create simulations of user scenarios, stress conditions, and edge cases to detect potential problems before they reach end users
- Leverage AI and automation technologies to accelerate product releases and reduce product defects
- AI-First Mindset (if your instinct is to write code first and then use AI tools to verify or enhance your code, rather than the other way around, then please do not apply)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a QA automation role
- Proficiency in Selenium and one of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript
- Professional experience using AI tools to automate QA workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms, such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
