Job Description
Outdated testing approaches continue to burden the software industry with sluggish release timelines and defect-heavy products. Conventional QA methodologies—even when augmented by rudimentary automation—often miss critical defects until it's too late, resulting in expensive setbacks and dissatisfied end users. Industry data reveals that more than 60% of software defects surface after release, and quality-related failures cost the software sector in excess of $2 trillion annually. The pressure to deliver faster, more dependable software requires a fundamental transformation in quality assurance strategy.
IgniteTech is driving this transformation by embedding GenAI capabilities throughout the entire QA lifecycle. By leveraging AI to replicate user interactions, produce intricate test scenarios, and assess defect patterns, we enable accelerated deployments with reduced bug counts. Joining our team places you at the cutting edge of this evolution, using AI to remove bottlenecks and anticipate issues before they materialize.
This position diverges from conventional QA roles. If you are seeking an environment centered on manual test runs or repetitive scripted automation, this opportunity is not for you. In this role, you will take ownership of designing and advancing AI-powered test automation architectures, implement predictive analytics to surface latent risks, and contribute to redefining software quality standards. You will build scalable, adaptive solutions for the demands of contemporary development—not operate within a static, legacy framework. If this aligns with the challenge you've been seeking, apply now to influence the future of software development.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design, deploy, and sustain AI-powered test automation frameworks that generate test cases, scripts, and datasets for thorough validation
- Apply GenAI tools to evaluate testing results, detect defect patterns, and deliver actionable recommendations for ongoing enhancement
- Model user behaviors, stress scenarios, and boundary conditions to detect potential defects before they affect end users
- Leverage AI and automation technologies to accelerate product releases and reduce product defects
- AI-First Mindset (if your default approach is to write code first and then apply AI tools for verification or improvement, rather than starting with AI, please do not apply)
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a QA automation capacity
- Demonstrated proficiency in Selenium and at least one of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript
- Hands-on professional experience applying AI tools to automate QA processes
- Working knowledge of CI/CD systems, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions
