The Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with GCP experience to join our fast-growing Network. You will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, improving CI/CD processes, and ensuring system reliability and security.

This is a long-term, full-time remote engagement. You’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and deliver impactful features in real products.

Main responsibilities

• Automate provisioning, deployment, and monitoring processes using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable software delivery
• Collaborate closely with development teams to support build and release processes
• Ensure system reliability, availability, and performance through effective monitoring and alerting
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in staging and production environments
• Implement and uphold security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines
• Support containerization and orchestration workflows using Docker and Kubernetes
• Contribute to DevOps strategy, architecture decisions, and process improvements
• Participate in an agile team environment, continuously optimizing workflows and automation

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP services (e.g., Cloud Run, Compute Engine, IAM, Cloud Storage, VPC).
• Solid understanding of IaC tools, especially Terraform.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes via GKE).
• Good scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• GCP certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud setups.
• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance (e.g., IAM best practices, audit logging).
• Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio) or API gateways.
• Prior experience working in fully remote, distributed teams.
• Contributions to open-source DevOps tools or cloud-native projects.
• Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization in GCP.
• Familiarity with agile development and DevSecOps practices.
