Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a UI/UX Designer, work from anywhere in India. The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing designs, developing mockups and prototypes, and enhancing the overall user experience. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless user interface designs and front-end implementation. Responsibilities will also include conducting user research to improve design solutions.

Role and Impact

• Own visual design and UX for features from brief → Figma → handoff.
• Convert screenshots, mocks, and verbal briefs into editable, high-fidelity prototypes.
• Map gaps in existing designs and propose UX fixes that are practical to implement.
• Ship multiple small projects each sprint and sync with PMs and engineers.
• Help build and maintain a shared component library and tokens.
• Experience of 1/2 years are preferred. But if you can do the job, you're welcome.

Core Responsibilities

• Convert images and written briefs into editable Figma files with components and variants.
• Produce high-fidelity clickable prototypes (list → detail → modal flows).
• Create sign-in/auth screens, error flows, and admin/operator pages as needed.
• Document UX gaps, suggested fixes, and developer handoff notes.
• Use AI tools responsibly to create skeletons, microcopy, and accelerate layout work.
• Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and code handoffs.

Must-Have Skills

• Expert in Figma: components, variants, Auto Layout, styles, and team libraries.
• Strong visual design and system thinking for complex dashboards and mobile apps.
• Able to create developer-ready handoffs (tokens, spacing, fonts, edge cases).
• Practical experience using AI tools and prompt workflows to accelerate design.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Framer or coded prototypes.
• Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG) and performance considerations.
• Background in data-heavy or enterprise dashboards, security/ops products.
• Experience with design system governance at scale.
• Experience with frontend technologies.

Interview Process

• Portfolio review with live Figma walkthrough.
• 48-hour take-home: convert provided screens to Figma + AI notes (we already use this).
• 25-minute live Figma discussion and product Q&A.
• Final cultural/role fit conversation.
