Tool Administrator/Engineer for SaMD Product Development Tools

Position : Tools Engineer

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Location: Remote, but once converted to full-time time will need to go onsite 3 days a week in Hyderabad. Usual conversion is within 12 months.

• Candidates need to be local to Hyderabad or need to be open to relocation once converted full-time.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience administering software development tools (e.g., Jama, ADO, Jira, Git).

• Experience with Single Sign-On concepts and implementation (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).

• Working knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to SaMD (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA CFR Part 11).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting tools in a medical device or health-tech environment.

• Familiarity with test management and requirement traceability for V&V activities.

• Experience writing or supporting tool validation documentation. Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline configuration.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Tool Administrator/Engineer. The Tool Administrator for SaMD Product Development Tools is responsible for the configuration, administration, and user support of digital platforms used throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). This includes tools such as Jama Connect (Requirements and Test Management), Azure DevOps (Work Item Tracking, Source Control, Build/Release Pipelines), and others as applicable. The role ensures these tools align with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, IEC 62304, ISO 13485) and supports system access via Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.
