Your Impactful Role


As our Head of Marketing & Acquisition, you will be at the forefront of crafting and executing a comprehensive, data-driven marketing strategy that maximizes customer acquisition, enhances brand visibility, and drives sustainable growth in the African region.


What You Will Do:


Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Drive the development and execution of innovative, localized marketing strategies tailored specifically to African markets, leveraging deep cultural insights and consumer behaviors to create compelling campaigns that resonate.
  • Lead the analysis of market trends, monitor competitors, and explore emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities, enhance user engagement, and stay ahead in a highly competitive landscape.
  • Manage marketing budgets with a sharp focus on maximizing ROI, ensuring strategic investments lead to increased player acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with product and operational teams to align marketing initiatives with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, fostering responsible gaming and brand trust.
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the company's presence in Africa, offering a unique opportunity to influence brand perception and accelerate growth.


Customer Acquisition & Campaign Management


  • Lead and orchestrate dynamic, multi-channel marketing campaigns across a diverse array of platforms, including SEO, PPC, social media, content marketing, and offline channels, designed to attract, engage, and convert new players.
  • Drive innovation in customer journey optimization by refining conversion funnels, enhancing user experience at every touchpoint, and maximizing acquisition rates to surpass ambitious growth targets.
  • Oversee the strategic integration of SEO, online marketing, and offline initiatives, ensuring seamless and cohesive campaigns that amplify brand visibility and resonate deeply with target audiences.
  • Harness data-driven insights to continuously refine campaign performance, adapt to market trends, and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the competitive iGaming and sports betting landscape.
  • Be at the forefront of digital innovation, leveraging cutting-edge tools and platforms to deliver impactful campaigns that captivate audiences and drive sustainable success.


Strategic Team & Department Leadership


  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams across multiple countries, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performance marketing, SEO, social media, and offline teams to drive growth.
  • Promote collaboration across departments to ensure consistent brand messaging, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Use transformational leadership to unlock team potential, foster creativity, and maintain a competitive edge in fast-changing markets.


Performance Monitoring & Reporting


  • Define clear, strategic KPIs that align with business objectives, establishing a robust framework for tracking the success of M&A initiatives, though advanced analytics and performance tracking tools, within the fast-paced industry.


  • Generate comprehensive, actionable reports that provide deep insights into the ROI of each acquisition, allowing for informed decision-making and strategic adjustments that maximize value creation.
  • Regularly review and scrutinize budgets and resource allocation, ensuring every dollar invested delivers maximum impact, efficiency, and long-term growth.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging data insights to refine deal strategies, mitigate risks, and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
  • Track ROI in demonstrating tangible value to stakeholders, driving smarter investments, and positioning the company as a leader in the competitive iGaming and sports betting landscape.
  • Lead with precision and clarity, transforming complex data into compelling narratives that showcase success stories and areas for growth, ensuring every M&A move contributes meaningfully to the company’s overarching vision.


Brand & Responsible Gaming Advocacy


  • Elevate STM’s brand as a trusted leader in the iGaming industry .
  • Champion responsible gaming initiatives and ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulations and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For:


  • 5+ years of proven leadership strategic marketing and customer acquisition experience, across Africa, preferably in iGaming or related sectors.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, SEO, PPC, social media, and offline marketing specific to African markets.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to interpret data, market trends, and consumer insights to develop innovative strategies.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
