🧪 Senior Performance QA Engineer

Xogito is looking for a Senior Performance QA Engineer who takes ownership of system performance and enjoys working on high-scale, real-world platforms.

You’ll work on a healthcare eCommerce & marketplace platform, where performance, scalability, and reliability are critical. The platform supports mission-critical workflows used daily by healthcare providers and suppliers.

This role is all about performance testing, load validation, and data-driven optimization in a complex, distributed environment.

🚀 What You’ll Do

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests
• Build and maintain performance test scenarios using JMeter and/or k6
• Simulate real-world traffic and peak usage across APIs and backend services
• Analyze performance metrics (latency, throughput, error rates, resource usage)
• Identify bottlenecks early and raise performance risks proactively
• Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Architecture teams
• Run performance tests as part of CI/CD pipelines
• Support root cause analysis and performance troubleshooting
• Contribute to performance benchmarks, SLAs, and acceptance criteria
• Continuously improve performance testing strategies and tooling

🧩 What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in QA or Performance Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with JMeter and/or k6
• Solid understanding of load, stress, spike, soak, and scalability testing
• Experience testing REST APIs and backend systems
• Ability to design realistic test scenarios based on business traffic patterns
• Experience analyzing performance data and communicating findings clearly
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Comfortable working in remote, distributed teams
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

⚙️ Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring & observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus)
• Scripting or programming skills (JavaScript, Java, Python)
• Cloud environments exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Docker / Kubernetes experience
• Healthcare, eCommerce, or high-traffic platforms background
• Performance or QA certifications
