Senior QA Engineer / Software Engineer (Testing-Focused)

What We Are Doing:

MangoRx is hiring a Senior QA Engineer / Software Engineer (Testing-Focused) to help us strengthen quality, reliability, and velocity across our growth funnels and core platform. This is not a traditional QA-only role. We are looking for an engineer with a deep testing mindset who can also build, migrate, and support production-grade frontend and backend systems.

You will own testing strategy and execution while actively contributing to funnel migration, platform development, and infrastructure stability. This role is critical to ensuring we can ship fast without breaking trust, revenue, or patient experience.

What You Will Do:

• Design and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) testing strategies across marketing funnels and platform features
• Build and maintain Playwright-based E2E tests, including video playback for test review and debugging
• Own UAT processes and ensure releases meet functional and business requirements
• Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively address risk areas
• Copy and migrate existing marketing funnels in-house
• Support A/B and split testing initiatives with reliable test coverage
• Ensure funnel changes are testable, repeatable, and measurable
• Contribute code across the stack (frontend and backend) as needed
• Write seed scripts and manage clean database states for testing and development

What You Bring:

• Strong background in QA engineering with hands-on development experience
• Working experience with Playwright, writing unit, integration, and E2E tests for production systems
• Ability to understand and work directly with database schemas and write seed scripts
• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, Redux Toolkit, Node.js, Express, Playwright, E2E, integration tests, unit tests
• Ability to work within infrastructure like Kubernetes, Docker, GKE
• Working experience in an early stage startup or a truly independent IC role

You may have:

• Experience supporting marketing funnels or growth experimentation
• Familiarity with healthcare, regulated environments, or high-availability systems
• Desire to evolve from a QA-focused role into a broader software engineering position
