We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our remote-first team and support our growing operations. In this key role, you will work closely with leadership to manage HR functions, foster a positive remote culture, and ensure compliance in a distributed environment. As our HR pillar, you will handle recruitment, employee relations, and initiatives that align with our scaling goals, all while championing remote work best practices.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Lead end-to-end recruitment, from crafting compelling job postings to virtual interviews, candidate sourcing, and streamlined remote onboarding.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Manage employee relations, including virtual performance reviews, conflict resolution, and fostering engagement in a remote setting.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Ensure full compliance with HR policies, international labor laws, and best practices tailored to remote workforces (knowledge of Egyptian labor laws preferred).
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Oversee payroll, benefits, and employee wellness programs, with a focus on remote-friendly perks like flexible scheduling and digital tools.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Develop and implement HR initiatives that support company growth, such as remote team-building strategies, virtual training programs, and asynchronous communication protocols.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Champion remote work policies, including tools for collaboration (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Asana), and promoting a healthy remote culture to prevent burnout and enhance productivity.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Analyze HR metrics to optimize remote operations, providing insights on retention, diversity, and team satisfaction in a distributed model.
ยทย ย ย ย ย ย Conduct Workload Analysis to assess team capacity and recommend adjustments for efficient remote operations.
Required Skills:
- 1โ3 years of proven HR experience, ideally in remote or distributed teams.
- Solid knowledge of HR principles and labor laws, with the ability to navigate remote-specific challenges.
- Exceptional virtual communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable with video calls, chat platforms, and cross-cultural interactions.
- High organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to evolving remote workflows.
- Experience with remote hiring tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems) is a plus
Leadership Competencies:
- Strong decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress without micromanagement.
- Passion for coaching team members and helping them grow in a supportive, virtual environment.
