Job Description

Position: Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Type: Full-Time

Objective:

We are seeking a communicative and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our dynamic remote team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in QA, a strong understanding of testing methodologies, and excellent English communication skills. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and overall quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features.
• Perform a wide range of testing types, including functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira or other bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Provide clear and concise updates on testing progress and defect status.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
• Stay up to date with testing trends, tools, and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proven ability to design and execute effective test cases.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, distributed team environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium).
• Hands-on experience with API testing.
