Technical Project Manager (SaaS Implementation)


Premier is searching for a dynamic Technical Project Manager to own the full journey of enterprise software deploymentfrom the moment a client signs on, through onboarding, configuration, and full adoption. You'll be at the forefront of delivering a cutting-edge, new-to-market product, shaping how it’s implemented at scale. You’ll focus on complex, data-heavy enterprise clients, leading implementations that demand both technical and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate thrives with autonomy, drives results, and brings deep experience managing large, multi-phased SaaS implementations.

What You’ll Do


  • Lead Project Planning & Execution: own the full implementation lifecycle—from defining scope and timelines to mobilizing resources and delivering outcomes that drive real business value for enterprise clients.
  • Drive Onboarding & Kickoffs: Set the tone with confident, goal-oriented client onboarding and kickoff sessions that align expectations and lay the foundation for successful rollouts.
  • Be the Cross-Functional Glue: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure smooth coordination, clear communication, and alignment across all project touchpoints.
  • Build Strong Client Relationships: Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the implementation, building trust with key stakeholders and ensuring their goals are met—or exceeded.
  • Mitigate Risk Like a Pro: Identify and address potential project risks early. You’ll keep things on track by guiding stakeholders through resolution paths and keeping momentum high.
  • Keep Everyone in the Loop: Maintain detailed project plans and documentation. Regularly share status updates, milestones, and blockers—so no one is ever in the dark.
  • Train for Success: Equip clients for long-term success by leading platform training, sharing best practices, and ensuring a confident handoff to Customer Success.
  • Seamlessly Handover Post-Go Live: Ensure a smooth transition from implementation to ongoing support by preparing the Customer Success team and clients for long-term partnership.


What You’ll Bring


  • Significant commercial experience leading SaaS implementations or managing technical projects.
  • A proven track record of managing multi-phased deployments for enterprise clients.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS, cloud platforms, and subscription-based models.
  • Fluent in project tools like Smartsheet, Trello, Asana, or MS Project.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, you know how to build trust with both clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Organized, deadline-driven, and calm under pressure, you're great at juggling priorities and solving for the unexpected.
  • Strong risk management instincts with the ability to course-correct quickly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


Bonus Points If You Have


  • You’ve helped bring a SaaS product to market and understand the pace, ambiguity, and opportunity that comes with it.
  • Experience working with Salesforce and Smartsheet.
  • Familiarity with Fintech, payments, and security best practices.
