BI Developer (PostgreSQL, Apache Superset) - 5-month Contract

We are looking for a skilled BI Developer to join us for a focused 5-month+ project serving a major US-based healthcare client.

This is a fully remote position. Only available in Romania. We are flexible regarding the collaboration model and welcome applicants interested in B2B (SRL/PFA) or Fixed-Term Employment contracts.

🏥 The Mission

We develop web applications for the healthcare sector. We use Apache Superset over a PostgreSQL database to turn complex medical data into actionable insights.

We need someone to jump in and take ownership of the reporting layer immediately.

🚀 What You Will Do

• Create & Maintain: Build interactive dashboards, charts, and detailed SQL reports using Apache Superset.
• SQL Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract accurate data from PostgreSQL.
• Data Visualization: Translate raw healthcare data into clear visuals that assist US medical professionals.
• Client Collaboration: Communicate directly with US stakeholders to understand reporting needs.

✅ Must-Have Skills

• Strong SQL Proficiency: You must know SQL inside and out (Joins, Subqueries, Aggregations). PostgreSQL experience is preferred.
• English Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory for client communication.
• Schedule Flexibility: You must be available for partial overlap with US business hours (17:00-18:00 Romania time) for meetings and synchronization.

🌟 Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Apache Superset: This is a massive plus.
• BI Background: Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik is very helpful if you are willing to adapt to Superset.
• Healthcare Experience: Familiarity with clinical data or trauma registries.
