Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Google Ads PPC Specialist to join our team in a full-time, fully remote role. This position is ideal for a paid advertising professional with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns.

As a Google Ads PPC Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and scaling paid search and display campaigns. Your work will directly support lead generation, traffic growth, and measurable ROI for Loyal To Cumbria and its partner businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Google Ads Campaign Management

  • Create, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Display, Performance Max, and remarketing
  • Conduct keyword research and audience targeting to maximize campaign effectiveness
  • Write and test ad copy to improve click-through rates and conversions

Budget Management & Performance Optimization

  • Manage ad budgets and bids to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS)
  • Monitor performance metrics such as CPC, CTR, conversion rates, and quality scores
  • Continuously optimize campaigns through A/B testing, bid adjustments, and audience refinement

Conversion Tracking & Analytics

  • Set up and maintain conversion tracking using Google Ads and analytics tools
  • Analyze performance data and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Prepare PPC performance reports with clear insights and recommendations

Collaboration & Strategy Alignment

  • Work closely with marketing teams and stakeholders to align PPC campaigns with wider marketing objectives
  • Support landing page optimization and conversion rate improvements
  • Ensure paid advertising efforts integrate effectively with SEO and organic strategies

Compliance, Trends & Best Practices

  • Ensure all campaigns comply with Google Ads policies and best practices
  • Stay up to date with Google Ads updates, features, and industry trends
  • Proactively recommend new strategies and opportunities to improve performance

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience managing Google Ads and PPC campaigns
  • Strong understanding of paid search, keyword targeting, and bidding strategies
  • Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, and conversion tracking
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent attention to detail and performance-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns in a remote environment
  • Good written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Desirable Skills (Nice To Have)

  • Experience working with local businesses or regional advertising campaigns
  • Familiarity with landing page optimization and CRO principles
  • Experience managing display, remarketing, or Performance Max campaigns
  • Previous experience in a remote PPC role
