We’re looking for a knowledgeable and proactive IT Security Consultant to advise on, implement, and improve information security strategies and practices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys identifying security risks, guiding stakeholders, and ensuring compliance in a remote-first environment.

• Assess and evaluate clients’ or internal systems for security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Provide recommendations and implement IT security controls, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct security audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments.
• Advise on network, cloud, application, and endpoint security best practices.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and business teams to ensure secure systems and processes.
• Develop security documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with cybersecurity threats, trends, and regulatory requirements.

• 0–3 years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity consulting, or related roles (internships, projects, or certifications accepted).
• Understanding of security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with security tools (SIEM, firewalls, antivirus, vulnerability scanners) and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and advisory skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
