Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator โ SSO III to support and enhance their Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem, with a strong focus on Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) platforms. This role will be responsible for both operational support and engineering initiatives across our Ping Identity environment, collaborating closely with Security, QA, Service Desk, DevOps, and international teams.
The ideal candidate has deep hands-on IAM experience, thrives in a complex enterprise environment, and can balance day-to-day operational demands with strategic platform improvements.
About The Role
- 12-month, W2 contract (potential to extend)
- 100% remote
- Target Pay Rate: $50.00/hr
- Not a part-time contract, 40 hours/week required

Operational Support
- Handle day-to-day intakes, incidents, and user access requests related to IAM and SSO
- Support and improve certificate management processes
- Enhance logging, monitoring, and dashboarding for IAM platforms
- Expand PingOne Protect, working with Security teams to tune triggers and analyze threat patterns
- Address user experience issues related to Active Directory, networking, and DevOps, including:
- Account lockouts
- Rogue/phantom authentication errors
- Login consistency issues
- Manage MFA setup, troubleshooting, and resets, partnering closely with the Service Desk
- Support incident response and onboarding of new application intakes
- Expand Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across enterprise applications
- Lead and support user MFA campaigns, including self-service password reset capabilities
- Support IAM platform upgrades and enhancements
- Streamline federated trust between Ping Identity and Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
- Partner with international teams to enable SSO across global applications
- Leverage Ping DaVinci to design and enhance customized user journeys for:
- Self-service MFA
- Password resets
- Initiate and implement PingCentral to automate processes and enable customer self-service
- Strengthen IAM infrastructure resiliency and reliability
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop and automate test scripts
- 5โ7 years of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Strong experience with the Ping Identity suite, including:
- PingOne
- PingFederate
- PingOne Protect
- Solid understanding of:
- SSO and federation (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
- MFA technologies and best practices
- IAM incident management and operational support
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Experience with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and Oracle Access Gateway (OAG)
- Experience automating IAM workflows and self-service capabilities
- Prior experience supporting global or distributed user populations
- High visibility impact across security, identity, and user experience platforms
