Job Description


Insight Global's client in the government and agile security sector is seeking a fully remote HR manager to join their growing team!


The Human Resources Manager is a strategic partner to company leadership, responsible for aligning talent strategy with organizational growth, contract demands, and long‑term business objectives. This role extends well beyond traditional HR and recruiting functions, contributing to workforce planning, pricing and proposal support, compliance, and scalable organizational design within a federal government contracting environment. The ideal candidate understands how people, compliance, pricing, and performance intersect in GovCon and can proactively build talent solutions that enable contract capture, program execution, and sustained profitability.


Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Background in small or rapidly growing GovCon businesses.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR and recruiting experience; government contracting experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal labor compliance requirements.
  • Experience in federal contracting or compliance-heavy environments.
  • Proven ability to act as a strategic advisor rather than solely an HR administrator.
  • Hands‑on experience with:
  • Multi‑discipline recruiting pipelines, including cleared talent
  • Proposal staffing and pricing support
  • Contract transition staffing
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and task management tools (Planner, Jira, Asana).
  • Strong discretion, reliability, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with small‑business set‑aside programs.
  • SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Experience supporting mergers, joint ventures, or high‑growth phases.
  • Comfort collaborating with Finance, Contracts, and BD leaders.


Compensation:

$100k-$110k.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
