Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise-level applications. In this role, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for web applications
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams for resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices
- Participate in release validation and support production deployments when required
Tools & Technologies
- QA automation using QFASS with Selenium
- Selenium-based automation frameworks
- Playwright knowledge is a plus (pending internal approval)
- CI/CD integration experience is a plus
- Experience testing APIs and backend services is desirable
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role
- Strong experience with Selenium-based test automation
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, distributed team
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services or enterprise environments
- Familiarity with Playwright or modern automation tools
- Experience with performance or security testing
- Exposure to cloud-based environments
