Hindi Thumbnail Designer (Performance-Based Freelance Trial | Deferred Payout)

This is a remote, performance-based contractual role for an experienced Hindi Thumbnail Designer. The role focuses on creating high click-through-rate thumbnails for YouTube videos, Shorts, and Reels, aligned with Hindi audience psychology and content intent. The designer will collaborate closely with video editors and follow structured content briefs. This role is designed as a 60-day performance trial and is not intended for beginners.

Contractual / Freelance engagement

60-day performance trial (February 1 to April 1)

Deferred payout released only after successful completion of the full trial period

Continuation beyond the trial may be considered based on performance


Key responsibilities include:

Designing high-performing Hindi YouTube thumbnails optimized for CTR

Applying emotion-based Hindi text placement and clear visual hierarchy

Maintaining consistency with brand colors, fonts, and design standards

Coordinating with video editors and strictly following content briefs

Delivering thumbnails daily or as per assigned schedules

Making revisions only when designs do not meet defined quality standards


Mandatory skills and tools:

Strong experience in professional YouTube thumbnail design

Excellent command over Hindi typography and spelling accuracy

Adobe Photoshop (mandatory)

Advanced working knowledge of Canva Pro

Strong understanding of contrast, color psychology, and composition

Expertise in facial expression cropping and subject highlighting

Mobile-first thumbnail design approach


Experience requirements:

Minimum 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in thumbnail or graphic design

Proven portfolio showcasing YouTube thumbnails (mandatory)

Freelance or agency experience preferred


Work expectations:

Fully remote role

Task-based and output-driven work structure

Flexible working hours with the ability to handle variable workload

Strict adherence to quality standards and deadlines


Compensation details:

₹10,000 per month

₹20,000 total for the complete 60-day trial period

Payment released after April 1

Payout subject to quality approval, task consistency, and deadline adherence

No advance payment

No partial payment for incomplete or discontinued trial periods


Immediate disqualification if any of the following apply:

No relevant thumbnail portfolio

Reliance only on pre-made Canva templates

Poor Hindi spelling or grammatical accuracy

Copied, low-effort, or non-original designs

Discomfort with a performance-based deferred payout structure


This role is structured strictly as a performance-based freelance trial with deferred compensation. Payment is released only after successful completion of the full 60-day period and fulfillment of defined quality and delivery standards.
