We are recruiting a remote Employee Onboarding Specialist to own new-hire activation across the U.S., optimize onboarding workflows, and deliver an exceptional first-week experience for remote and hybrid hires.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end new-hire onboarding for remote U.S. employees—coordinate paperwork, background checks, I-9 verification, e-signatures, and system access.
- Operate and administrate ATS and HRIS onboarding modules (create profiles, trigger workflows, update statuses) to ensure 100% data accuracy.
- Deliver virtual orientation sessions and new-hire communications; prepare managers with role-specific checklists and onboarding roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, IT, Payroll, and Hiring Managers to resolve onboarding blockers and drive timely start dates.
- Maintain and improve onboarding SOPs, checklists, and automation rules to reduce manual steps and improve new-hire time-to-productivity.
- Produce onboarding metrics and reports (completion rates, time-to-fill handoffs, feedback) and recommend process improvements based on data.
