Job Description


The Role

This is a founding marketing hire for one of Australia's fastest growing SaaS businesses (we're not even global yet).


You will own inbound growth end-to-end from first click to sales-qualified lead and build a scalable, AI-enabled demand engine from the ground up.


What You’ll Do- Own Inbound Pipeline

  • Build and scale Plexa’s inbound lead generation engine
  • Generate high-intent, sales-qualified leads (not vanity traffic)
  • Work directly with the founder to align marketing with real sales conversations
  • Continuously improve lead quality, conversion rates, and time-to-demo


- Build AI-Powered Growth Systems

  • Use AI to scale content, experimentation, and personalisation
  • Implement modern tooling for SEO, inbound journeys, and attribution
  • Analyse funnel data and optimise weekly not quarterly
  • Build a lean, high-output marketing stack from scratch


- Create High-Intent Content That Converts

  • Develop content aligned to real construction buying triggers:
  • Safety compliance pressure
  • Financial control & cashflow risk
  • Audit readiness
  • Scaling across multiple projects
  • Own SEO, landing pages, case studies, and comparison content
  • Turn customer wins into repeatable inbound assets


- Optimise the Funnel

  • Own the full inbound funnel:
  • Website → lead capture → nurture → SQL
  • Design landing pages, lead magnets, and demo flows that convert
  • Partner closely with sales to improve MQL → SQL performance


What Success Looks Like:


Within your first 3–6 months, you will:

  • Deliver consistent inbound SQLs from Plexa’s ICP
  • Build an inbound engine that compounds month-over-month
  • Prove marketing-led pipeline that reduces founder dependency
  • Create a scalable foundation for future growth hires



Who We’re Looking For


Experience

  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS growth, demand gen, or inbound marketing
  • Proven experience building inbound engines from scratch or near-zero
  • Experience with long sales cycles and complex buyers
  • Construction, property, or industrial experience is a bonus, not a requirement
