My client is a fast-growing MedTech scale-up (~100 people, strong engineering focus) building a next-generation robotic medical device that combines hardware, software, and data at its core. With CE approval secured and funding through 2027, they are scaling from development into real-world deployment. You’ll join the Application Team, working closely with engineering and business to make data reliable, traceable, and actionable.

What you’ll do

You’ll help build and scale the data backbone behind a regulated, hardware-driven product. Working in a cloud-native setup, you’ll design and maintain production-grade ETL and ELT pipelines that support both operational insight and long-term product performance. Day to day, you’ll develop Python-based pipelines using modern libraries like Polars, run them in containerised environments, and integrate them with AWS orchestration services. You’ll collaborate closely with a Senior Data Engineer to improve performance and robustness, investigate data issues, extend automated quality checks, and translate requirements into clean datasets and clear dashboards.

Your profile

• 2+ Years of experience in data engineering.

• Strong Python skills; familiar with modern data tooling such as Polars, Pandas, PyArrow, or PySpark.

• Experience with AWS-native services (S3)

• Hands-on experience with ETL or ELT pipelines in data lake or lakehouse environments.

• Communicative, structured, and comfortable working in a regulated

environment.
