Systems Engineer – Network Infrastructure | Contracting opportunity

Your Role

As a Systems Engineer – Network Infrastructure, you’ll work at the intersection of Linux, automation and networking. You’ll help reduce operational toil, improve reliability and support complex network environments across data centers, offices and warehouses.

You’ll be part of a small, experienced team responsible for a mission-critical on-prem network.

You’ll work on:

• Automating network and infrastructure tasks using Puppet, Python and Bash
• Running, maintaining and improving Linux (RHEL) based infrastructure
• Supporting core network services (DHCP, DNS, NTP, monitoring, orchestration)
• Troubleshooting network issues (ISO layers 1–3)
• Leading and coordinating network-related projects (upgrades, migrations, new deployments)
• Collaborating closely with internal engineering and operations teams

Tech Stack:

• Linux: RHEL
• Automation: Puppet, Python, Bash
• Networking: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN
• Hardware: Cisco & Juniper
• Monitoring & Infra: InfluxDB, Telegraf, KVM
