About Haven Housing Solutions
Haven Housing Solutions exists for moments when people, organizations, and communities need housing solved quickly, thoughtfully, and without friction.
We provide temporary and mid-term housing for families displaced by disaster, government agencies responding to urgent missions, and companies relocating employees during critical transitions. When time matters and uncertainty is high, Haven delivers speed, stability, and care.
We are not a marketplace. We are not a call center. We are a hands-on, mission-driven housing partner operating across three core verticals: insurance relocation, government housing, and corporate housing.
Our work directly impacts families after fires and floods, disaster survivors rebuilding their lives, government personnel deployed on critical missions, and employees relocating for work.
We are in a rapid growth phase, scaling nationally while maintaining a boutique, human-first standard of care. Every placement represents a person, a family, or a mission that matters.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategy and execution across Haven’s three core business verticals.
This role is designed for a senior individual contributor who combines hands-on execution with strategic ownership. You will define and execute vertical-specific GTM strategies, own marketing budgets and performance, and operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with leadership and sales.
This is not a people management role on day one. It is a senior IC role with real authority, accountability, and a clear path to Director as the function scales.
Core Objective of the Role
Own and execute marketing strategy that drives pipeline and revenue across insurance, government, and corporate housing, while strengthening a trusted, mission-driven brand.
You will balance strategy and execution, roughly 50% each, and will be accountable for turning marketing investment into measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Strategy and Leadership
- Define vertical-specific GTM strategies for insurance, government, and corporate housing
- Collaborate with leadership and sales to prioritize initiatives through a consensus-based approach
- Translate business goals into clear marketing plans, campaigns, and experiments
- Continuously refine strategy based on performance data and market feedback
Growth, Demand Generation, and Performance
- Own demand generation efforts across key channels, including Google Ads, email and lifecycle marketing, LinkedIn, content and SEO, events, and partnerships
- Drive lead generation, funnel optimization, and conversion improvements
- Manage and forecast marketing spend, reallocating budget based on ROI and performance
- Partner with agencies and contractors as needed, with internal support
Lifecycle, Content, and Brand Execution
- Build and optimize email and lifecycle campaigns aligned with real customer use cases
- Develop content and messaging tailored to each vertical while maintaining brand consistency
- Support light government capture marketing, including capability materials and partner-facing assets
- Ensure Haven’s brand remains clear, professional, and empathetic across all channels
Events and Partnerships
- Support industry conferences through pre-event outreach, on-site coordination or attendance, and post-event follow-up
- Help plan and execute partner activations and, over time, owned Haven-hosted events
- Align event strategy with pipeline goals and partner development
Data, Reporting, and Optimization
- Own marketing performance reporting and insights
- Track KPIs tied to pipeline, revenue influence, and channel performance
- Use experimentation and data to inform ongoing optimization and prioritization
- Operate autonomously, proactively bringing insights and recommendations to leadership
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, leadership, and operations
- Support sales enablement with campaigns, materials, and market insights
- Use Salesforce and ZoomInfo to refine ICPs and improve targeting and alignment
How Success Is Measured
Success in this role is measured by outcomes, not activity. Key indicators include:
- Marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline
- Lead quality, conversion rates, and funnel performance
- Cost per lead and cost per acquisition
- Campaign-level ROI and budget efficiency
- Email engagement and lifecycle performance
- Event and partnership impact
- Website traffic, conversion rates, and attribution trends
Ideal Candidate Profile
This role is a strong fit if you:
- Have 5 to 8 years of hands-on marketing experience
- Have owned both strategy and execution in a B2B, B2C, or hybrid environment
- Are comfortable owning budgets, performance, and reporting
- Thrive in fast-paced, growing organizations
- Operate autonomously and proactively
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and building systems as you go
- Want a long-term role with increasing ownership and a path to Director
- Have experience in housing, real estate, insurance, government contracting, or adjacent industries, preferred but not required
