Penetration Tester (Short-Term Contract)

We’re looking for an experienced Penetration Tester to join on a short-term contract and assist with upcoming security testing requirements. This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and deliver high-quality assessments in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As a Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for performing targeted security testing across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments. You’ll work closely with the internal team to identify vulnerabilities, assess risk, and provide actionable remediation guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration testing across web apps, APIs, infrastructure, and/or cloud environments
• Perform vulnerability assessments and exploitation where appropriate
• Document findings in a clear, concise, and actionable format
• Provide remediation advice and support technical teams where needed
• Work independently and deliver within agreed timelines
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding progress and results

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Penetration Tester or Offensive Security Engineer
• Strong knowledge of common attack techniques, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Kali, OWASP)
• Experience testing in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) is highly regarded
• Ability to produce professional, high-quality reporting
• Relevant certifications (OSCP, OSWE, CREST, etc.) are a bonus but not essential
• Ability to start immediately
