Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about quality engineering, test automation, and continuous improvement in a remote-first environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and test coverage.
• Execute automated and manual tests to identify defects and performance issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and track issues through resolution.
• Continuously improve test processes, tools, and frameworks.
• Ensure test documentation and best practices are maintained.

• 2+ years of experience in software testing or test automation.
• Proficiency in at least one automation language or framework (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript; Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with API testing and test automation tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
