About CacheFly

CacheFly powers fast, secure content delivery across the globe. We are a performance-driven, remote-first technology company that values ownership, accountability, and speed. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced HR Manager to own all aspects of the employee experience from recruiting to onboarding, performance management and benefits for our global workforce.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for the full employee lifecycle—from hiring and onboarding through performance management, development, and exits. You will own and operate our performance management framework, partner with leaders to raise the bar on expectations, and ensure managers are equipped to lead with consistency and accountability.

Reporting to the CFO, you will work closely with leadership to ensure our people practices are clear, fair, execution-focused, and aligned with business outcomes. This role is ideal for an HR generalist who thrives in ownership, enjoys building structure where it matters, and is comfortable being a department of one.

Key Responsibilities

Global Talent Acquisition

  • Own full cycle recruiting for all roles from intake through onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role scope, success criteria, compensation inputs, and hiring decisions.
  • Manage sourcing, coordination, offers, background checks and onboarding.
  • Ensure compliant hiring practices across geographies and worker classifications.
  • Maintain efficient, candidate-friendly hiring processes that consistently raise the talent bar.

HR Business Partner & Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, managers, and leadership.
  • Advise and coach managers on setting expectations, delivering feedback, performance management, and managing employee issues.
  • Support employee lifecycle events, including reviews, performance-related actions, and separations.
  • Handle employee concerns and conflicts with discretion, sound judgment and consistency.
  • Maintain a pulse on company culture, engagement, and morale through proactive feedback loops.

HR Operations

  • Own benefits administration, enrollments, renewals, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage payroll inputs, HR systems, records, and reporting in partnership with Finance.
  • Ensure HR data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Support compensation administration and benchmarking.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and documentation to reflect how the company operates.

Training, Onboarding & Remote Culture

  • Own onboarding programs that clearly communicate expectations, role responsibilities, and how work gets done at CacheFly.
  • Partner with managers to assess skill gaps and identify development needs.
  • Coordinate internal or external training to support manager effectiveness and employee growth.
  • Maintain required compliance training and internal HR resources.
  • Promote effective remote-work practices and manager enablement.
  • Support practices that reinforce clarity, accountability, and connection in a remote-first environment.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of hands-on HR experience in a generalist or HR manager role.
  • Highly organized, pragmatic, and trusted with confidential matters.
  • Experience operating as a department of one or in a lean HR function.
  • Strong global recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations background.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. employment law; global/contractor experience preferred.
  • Comfortable partnering closely with Finance and senior leadership.
  • Proficient with modern HR tools and systems.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive salary and annual bonus (15% target) - pending on location
  • Payroll (US) or Contractor (rest of world)
  • US Based roles only:
    • Full health benefits (medical, dental, vision, LTD/STD, life) – most at no cost to you
    • 401(k) with 4% Safe Harbor company match, fully vested from day one
  • Unlimited PTO, all federal holidays, and flexible work hours
  • Remote-first culture
  • Significant annual work-from-home stipend, monthly internet/phone allowance
