Length of project: 6 months with the possiblity to be extended to 1 year
Hourly rate: $75 to $85
Hours per week: 40 hours

The Technical Product Owner will be responsible for setting, prioritizing, and evaluating the work generated by a software engineering team in order to ensure impeccable features and functionality of products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the voice of the client.
- Research and analyze the market, target users, and the roadmap for the product.
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to analyze the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals.
- Work closely with product management and senior management to create a product that fits the company portfolio.
- Serve as a team lead to implement clear workflows and processes, and collaborate cross functionally from product concept through release, including for new products as well as for maintenance of existing products.
- Own the product roadmap.
- Develop scope and define backlog items (epic/features/user stories) that guide the software development team.
- Manage budgets in close collaboration with engineering and with project managers to ensure on-budget delivery of product releases.
- Drive agile transformation when applicable during new product development and manage waterfall workflow where applicable.
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those tasks with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy, in collaboration with the Project Management team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product and throughout its development journey, and present your solutions via wireframes, flows, diagrams, etc., to gather feedback and confirmation.
- Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams and can be developed in iterative development processes.
- Assist with identifying and sourcing technical solutions or vendors that support the product development requirements and specifications for your epics/features/user stories.
- Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
- Draft key objectives, results, and strategies, and apply that data to the product to make business decisions.
- Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
- Be accountable for the created product(s), delivering in the product model and communicating the product needs with business partners.
- Serve as a leader to the team, introduce improvements to workflows and processes, and collaborate with the PMO leadership to develop guidelines to improve the quality of project submissions from teams across the organization.
- Follow our competitors and the industry standard to bring innovation to the product development workflow.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience
