We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join a project team and provide expert support for our customer’s Certificate and Cryptography Services (PKI).

This is a fully remote opportunity with an immediate start for consultants holding European nationality.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a critical Public Key Infrastructure environment. Your deep understanding of cryptography, coupled with hands-on experience with leading PKI and smartcard management platforms, will ensure the security and reliability of essential certificate services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support the customer’s PKI and certificate lifecycle management ecosystem.
  • Work with a stack that includes:
  • Keyfactor EJBCA (Core PKI for Root/Sub CA, OCSP)
  • Keyfactor Command (Certificate Lifecycle Management)
  • CRL Servers for certificate revocation list distribution
  • Intercede MyID for smartcard (Yubikey) management (enrollment, renewal, revocation)
  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and ensure high availability of services.
  • Collaborate on security best practices and contribute to the evolution of the cryptography infrastructure.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Mandatory: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Strong, practical understanding of cryptography and PKI fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with the mentioned platforms (Keyfactor, Intercede) or similar PKI solutions.
  • A relevant security certification is required, such as:
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM, GSEC, GCCC, CEH, ECSA, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • European nationality is a requirement for this customer project.

A Significant Advantage:

  • Experience or knowledge of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).

Contract Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Daily Rate: €385
  • Location: Fully Remote (must be based in Europe)
