Senior Recruiter – Private Equity–Backed Industrial Search

Red Dynamics is a fast-growing executive search firm specializing in the industrial sector including manufacturing, distribution, and industrial technology. We are not a staffing agency. We are headhunters.


Our work is targeted, relationship-driven, and focused on identifying high-impact talent that doesn’t apply to job ads. Increasingly, we partner with private equity–backed portfolio companies to fill critical leadership roles that directly impact growth, operations, and value creation.


Due to continued growth and new business from PE-backed clients, we are expanding our recruiting team.


About the Role

We are hiring 1–2 experienced Senior Recruiters to support our growing workload and help scale our impact.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates located in the EST or CST time zones within the U.S. A few members of our team (including our President) are based in Charlotte, NC and occasionally meet in person, but location is flexible.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a performance-driven environment, is comfortable owning searches end-to-end, and knows how to truly headhunt senior-level talent.


What You’ll Do

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle for Manager, Director, and VP-level roles across manufacturing, distribution, and industrial technology organizations
  • Lead proactive, high-volume direct sourcing and outreach to passive candidates
  • Partner closely with founders, CEOs, and PE operating partners to understand business needs, growth plans, and leadership profiles
  • Build and manage talent pipelines across key functional areas including operations, engineering, supply chain, maintenance, plant leadership, and corporate leadership
  • Conduct market mapping and competitor research to support search strategy
  • Run candidate interviews, manage offer processes, and close senior-level placements
  • Represent Red Dynamics with professionalism, urgency, and credibility to both clients and candidates
  • Operate independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication, accountability, and performance metrics
  • Contribute ideas and improvements as part of a growing, entrepreneurial team


What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technical environments
  • Background in executive search, headhunting, or direct-hire recruiting (not high-volume staffing)
  • Proven ability to identify, engage, and close passive senior-level talent
  • Familiarity with private equity–backed companies or PE portfolio hiring strongly preferred
  • Advanced sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and ATS/CRM platforms
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable being accountable in a remote role
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with executives and candidates quickly
  • U.S. based in EST or CST time zones
