HubSpot Marketing Operations Specialist – 100% Remote
Our Client is building the next generation of community-driven marketing platforms — and we’re looking for a HubSpot expert to lead the foundation.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a greenfield HubSpot environment as the primary in-house owner and architect of a growing Marketing Hub implementation. You will play a central role in shaping how lifecycle marketing, data, automation, and community engagement scale across a global consumer platform in 2026 and beyond.

What You’ll Do
As the primary HubSpot Marketing Operations lead, you will:
- Own and manage the full HubSpot Marketing Hub instance, acting as the internal system expert and administrator
- Design and oversee contact ingestion, data hygiene, lifecycle stages, and governance from the ground up
- Build, test, and launch lifecycle campaigns, nurture programs, and automation workflows at scale
- Partner closely with Lifecycle Marketing, Community Marketing, Analytics, and IT to ensure clean data, reliable automation, and high deliverability
- Own deliverability, segmentation strategy, testing frameworks, and send optimization across the email channel
- Create dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks to track performance, timelines, and system health
- Support a major community website relaunch and ongoing HubSpot CMS optimization
- Serve as a trusted advisor on marketing automation best practices, system design, and platform scalability
This role is highly autonomous — you will be the primary in-house owner responsible for making architectural decisions that will shape the platform long-term.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a senior-level Marketing Operations professional who has built and owned HubSpot systems before.
Required experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with HubSpot Marketing Hub
- Proven experience launching or migrating a HubSpot instance and owning system architecture
- Deep expertise in contact ingestion, data hygiene, lifecycle modeling, and governance
- Strong knowledge of email marketing best practices: segmentation, automation, testing, and deliverability
- Experience building lifecycle and nurture programs from scratch
- Comfortable operating as the primary or sole HubSpot administrator
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Strong plus
- SQL or advanced data fluency
- Integration and RevOps experience
- CMS experience within HubSpot
- HubSpot certifications
- Light HTML/CSS for email and landing page customization
