The Role
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Recruiter and HR Business Partner to join our growing team. As our first dedicated HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in maturing our People Operations. In this hybrid position, you will take ownership of our recruiting efforts while simultaneously serving our employees as an HR Business Partner, supporting needs throughout the entire employee life cycle. You will play a critical part in helping Tribunus Health build a world-class culture while ensuring our HR operations are scalable, compliant, and efficient.
What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition (Recruiting)
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for open roles, from working with hiring managers to draft job descriptions to sourcing, screening, and extending offers.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless and positive candidate and new hire experience that reflects our company values.
- Sourcing: Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and professional networks to build an effective hiring pipeline.
HR Business Partner
- Foundational Process Setup: Help our leadership team design, implement, and document core HR policies and workflows. Update and incorporate current processes as well as create new processes where none currently exist.
- Employee Relations & Performance Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries, fostering a culture of trust and support regarding policies, benefits, and workplace culture. Facilitate our performance improvement and corrective action processes, emphasizing early intervention and development. Drive initiatives to enhance employee listening and feedback loops, translating organizational insights into actionable People Operations strategies.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes to ensure a successful start, as well as manage compliant offboarding procedures.
- Policy & Compliance: Assist the VP of Operations in maintaining compliance with federal and state labor laws and updating the employee handbook.
- Culture Building: Support initiatives that foster engagement and connection in a remote environment.
What You Bring
Required:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in both recruiting and HRBP roles.
- Builder Mindset: Proven ability to create processes from scratch and thrive in an environment where you are the first in the role.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of US employment laws and HR best practices.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with modern HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, BambooHR, Rippling).
- Remote Work: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
Preferred:
- Experience hiring for healthcare or health-tech roles.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
- Experience working with SMB and high-growth companies.
- Experience using Rippling ATS & HRIS.
