Full-Stack Developer (Backend-Heavy) - Multi-Asset Brokerage Firm

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Developer to join SCA Category 1 multi-asset brokerage firm based in Dubai. The organisation offers a diverse array of financial products including derivatives, FX, Bullion, equities, fixed income, CFDs, listed and OTC derivatives.

We are looking for a hands-on full-stack developer to support and maintain an existing production system.

The role focuses on debugging, stability, deployment, and incremental improvements, not product ownership or platform evangelism.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain and debug Python / FastAPI backend services
• Work with PostgreSQL (schemas, queries, performance)
• Build and maintain React (TypeScript) frontend screens consuming existing APIs
• Support Docker-based deployments and CI/CD
• Fix bugs, improve reliability, and keep the system production-ready

Required skills:

• Python, FastAPI
• PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy
• React + TypeScript
• Docker, Git
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Redis, Neo4j
• Kubernetes basics
• Experience with internal tools or regulated systems
