We are seeking a Mid Linux Admin to support mission‑critical initiatives within a large‑scale ecosystem for a leading global cloud provider.
In this role, you will work closely with internal engineers and cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality outcomes in a fast‑moving, highly distributed cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands‑on contributions across software development, testing, operations, compliance, migration, or documentation initiatives
- Support KTLO (Keep the Lights On) activities, including ticket resolution, incident follow‑up, and remediation of long‑tail issues
- Implement scoped feature enhancements, fixes, migrations, and deprecations
- Contribute to regression testing, automation development, CI improvements, and quality gates
- Work within proprietary internal tooling (e.g., monorepo‑based development systems, issue‑tracking platforms, automation frameworks, and operational dashboards)
- Collaborate with distributed teams across US, EMEA, and APAC time zones
- Follow strict security, access, and compliance processes
- Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and stream‑specific artifacts
- Participate in planning, reviews, and execution check‑ins led
Job requirements:
- Experience working in large‑scale production environments
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to operate effectively with partial or evolving requirements
- Ability to ramp up quickly in new technical or product domains
- Prior experience working within monorepo‑based development systems
- Familiarity with cloud compute platforms and related services
- 3+ years of backend experience
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Linux systems administration in large‑scale production environments
- Solid understanding of cloud platform architecture and compute‑related services
- Experience managing or contributing to large‑scale technical programs
- Familiarity with monorepo workflows, CI/CD systems, and large‑scale development practices
- Proficiency with internal execution and tracking tools (e.g., issue trackers, workflow orchestration tools, internal dashboards)
- Ability to manage migrations, deprecations, and cross‑team technical dependencies
Must possess a legal work permit in Poland
