Role

We’re looking for a confident and motivated Associate Product Manager to join our growing Product team at Ovation. You’ll work closely with our product, design, and engineering teams internally, while also being an external liaison directly with clients to help coordinate impactful digital experiences across our platforms.

In this role, you’ll translate client and user needs into clear product requirements, assist in managing backlogs, coordinate sprints, and help to ensure that what we build aligns with both business goals and user value. You’ll serve as part of the connective tissue between our internal teams and client partners to ensure communication is clear, expectations are aligned, and delivery runs smoothly from concept to release.

Primary responsibilities:
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leads to translate goals into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as a client-facing liaison by confidently representing Ovation’s product team, gathering feedback, and ensuring client priorities are understood and reflected in the roadmap.
  • Coordinate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritization sessions.
  • Document requirements, workflows, and edge cases to ensure clarity across all stakeholders.
  • Track progress and communicate updates proactively to both internal and external audiences.
  • Support testing and validation of new features before release.
  • Foster strong collaboration across Product, Design, Engineering, and client teams to ensure alignment and quality delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in product management, agile delivery, business analysis, or software development.
  • Experience working with clients or external partners in a product or delivery role.
  • Familiarity with agile tools (ClickUp, Jira, or similar) and frameworks.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; confident in client meetings and demos.
