The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing day-to-day marketing activity across content, organic social, SEO, paid social, and HubSpot for our retained clients.
This role exists to ensure activities are consistently delivered, optimised, and maintained — allowing a senior team member to focus on strategy and client management.
This is a hands-on execution role with room to grow for someone who is organised, curious, and comfortable working across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Campaign Execution
- Write blog articles from defined briefs, outlines, or reference material
- Write short-form video scripts and campaign copy
- Repurpose content into social posts, emails, and paid creative
- Upload and format blogs, landing pages, and website content
- Edit short-form videos (basic cuts, captions, formatting)
Organic Social
- Schedule and publish organic social content across defined platforms
- Write captions and work with the designer on creative outputs
- Repurpose blogs, videos, and campaigns into social content
- Monitor basic engagement metrics and flag insights or opportunities
SEO/AEO (Execution Only)
- Publish and update SEO content using the provided strategy
- Implement on-page SEO best practices
- Update existing content as directed
- Follow SEO checklists to ensure consistency and quality
Note: SEO strategy, research, and technical SEO are managed separately.
Paid Social (Execution Support)
- Build and manage paid social campaigns across Meta and LinkedIn
- Implement campaigns within defined budgets, audiences, and strategy
- Write and test ad copy and creative variations
- Monitor performance and escalate optimisation opportunities
Note: Google Ads, CRO, and overall paid strategy are owned by a senior team member.
HubSpot & Marketing Systems
- Build and send email campaigns using existing templates
- Update landing pages, CTAs, forms, and lists
- Maintain campaign assets and tracking in HubSpot
- QA all work before it goes live
AI, Efficiency & Continuous Improvement
- Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, HubSpot AI, content and video tools) to:
- Improve speed and efficiency of content production
- Assist with research, outlines, and first drafts
- Repurpose content more effectively across channels
- Proactively suggest process improvements, tooling ideas, or efficiency gains
- Bring forward ideas for:
- Better content reuse
- Faster campaign execution
- Improved consistency across clients
What Success Looks Like
- Marketing activity is delivered on time
- Content quality is consistent and requires very minimal rework
- Social, SEO, and paid social activity runs without being chased
- AI is used responsibly to increase output and consistency (not shortcuts or low-quality content)
Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing or agency environments
- Strong writing and content formatting skills
- Experience supporting or running paid social campaigns
- Comfortable working across social, SEO, and email
- Familiarity with AI tools for content and productivity
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Comfortable working remotely with accountability
Bonus
- HubSpot experience
- Short-form video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.)
- SEO/AEO knowledge
