🚀 Your role as a Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer at Xccelerated, you will help design, build, and optimize a secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud platform that supports a modern data ecosystem.

You will:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure and platform components on GCP
• Build and manage cloud-based data platforms using tools such as BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Dataflow, dbt, and Cloud Storage
• Monitor and optimize performance, security, and cost efficiency of cloud environments
• Automate infrastructure and workflows to improve scalability and reliability
• Support and advise development teams on cloud architecture and best practices
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement
• Stay up to date with the latest Google Cloud developments and cloud-native best practices

👩 💻 Who we’re looking for

You’re an engineer who enjoys building scalable cloud platforms and learning by doing.

You bring:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cloud, IT, or a related field
• 4–5 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, or DevOps
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (strong preference for GCP, but AWS or Azure is also welcome)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud security best practices
• Proficiency in Python or Go
• Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands and work in an English-speaking environment
