This is a full-time volunteer role for an Unreal Engine Developer. The developer will play a key role in coding, optimizing, and troubleshooting game mechanics and environments within Unreal Engine. Day-to-day tasks will include implementing gameplay features, collaborating with designers and artists to bring creative visions to life, and ensuring smooth, high-performance gaming experiences. This is a remote position, allowing you to contribute to an innovative game development team from anywhere in the world.
- Proficiency in Unreal Engine 4/5, including working with Blueprints and C++ for gameplay programming
- Experience with game optimization and debugging for ensuring high-quality performance
- Ability to collaborate with designers and artists to turn game concepts into playable features
- Strong understanding of game development pipelines and workflows
- Passion for competitive gaming and a deep interest in game design and mechanics
- Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
- Experience working remotely and effectively communicating within a distributed team
- Experience in top-down shooters and competitive gaming development is a plus
