Job Description
About Favoured
Favoured is a digital marketing agency that helps brands grow through data-driven strategies and innovative thinking. We're looking for a Conversion Specialist who can turn insights into action and drive measurable results for our clients.
The Role
We're seeking a Email Marketing Manager / Conversion Specialist to join our team and own the performance of our clients' digital ecosystems. You'll be the strategic mind behind conversion rate optimisation, identifying gaps, building new strategies, and executing campaigns that move the needle. This is a hands-on role where you'll blend strategic thinking with practical execution—and work directly with clients to make it happen.
What You'll Do
You'll develop and implement conversion strategies across app and ecommerce products, spotting opportunities others miss and turning them into revenue. This means proactively monitoring performance, reporting on what's working (and what isn't), and continuously optimising to improve results.
You'll be deeply embedded in the tech stack - not just using the tools, but truly understanding how they work together. You'll guide clients through setting up tracking events, configuring platforms, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring their infrastructure supports the strategies you're building. Whether it's implementing custom events in analytics platforms, setting up audience segmentation in their CRM, or configuring automation workflows, you'll provide hands-on technical support and strategic guidance to get it right.
You'll regularly analyse user behaviour across various analytics tools to identify gaps and opportunities - not just for middle-of-funnel optimisation, but also to help refine the top-of-funnel team's approach, targeting, and messaging. You'll work closely with the media buying team to understand how acquisition strategies are affecting the quality of users entering your mid-funnel audiences, ensuring alignment between what's coming in and what you're optimising for.
You'll write, design and build campaigns and automatons including emails, push notifications, and other customer communications that convert—combining compelling copy with strategic timing and audience segmentation. You'll work within platforms like Klaviyo, Dotdigital, Customer.io, Google Analytics, HunSpot, Mixpanel, Shopify, and others, getting your hands dirty with the configuration and optimisation that makes campaigns work.
We need someone who brings fresh ideas to the table. You'll be expected to innovate, test new approaches, and challenge the status quo when you see a better way forward.
This is a client-facing role, so you'll present strategies, walk through performance reports, train client teams on their tech stack, and collaborate directly with them to align on priorities and execution. You'll be their trusted advisor—the person they turn to when they need to understand what's possible and how to make it happen.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in conversion rate optimisation for app and ecommerce products
- Strong technical expertise with marketing and analytics platforms, you can set up events, configure tracking, build automations, and troubleshoot when things break
- Experience guiding clients through technical implementation and providing ongoing platform support
- Demonstrated ability to write effective customer communications that drive action
- A proactive mindset - you don't wait to be told there's a problem; you find it and fix it
- Comfort using AI tools to enhance efficiency, ideation, and creative output
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on technical execution skills
- Confidence presenting to and advising clients, including training them on platform capabilities
- A track record of identifying gaps in strategy and technical setup, then filling them with measurable results
- Understanding of how top-of-funnel acquisition impacts mid-funnel performance and audience quality
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with media buying and strategy teams
- Deep analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns in user behaviour and translate them into actionable insights across the funnel
- Curiosity and a hunger to test, learn, and innovate

We also believe in proper time off, which is why we offer 32 days holiday.
