Senior Manual Software Tester - 100% Remote - B2B / Autónomo - 3 month initial contract - £200 per day

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Tester, with strong manual testing skills, to join our client's dynamic and innovative software development team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their software products through comprehensive testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies and a proven track record of leading testing efforts across complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project goals and requirements.

· Design, create, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.

· Conduct functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to identify software defects and ensure overall system reliability.

· Lead and drive automation testing efforts to improve efficiency and coverage.

· Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

· Identify, document, and track software defects through their lifecycle.

· Generate and communicate detailed defect reports to development teams, ensuring timely resolution.

· Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.

· Effectively communicate testing progress, results, and any potential risks to project timelines.

· Lead and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the overall testing capabilities of the team.

· Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and testing trends.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a Software Tester with a focus on manual testing.

· Strong expertise in test planning, test case design, and execution.

· Proficiency / knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

· Experience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
