Job Title

Business Analyst โ€“ P&P Shared Services (HR Automation)


This role is fully remote, but looking for candidates in San Diego, Mountain View, Atlanta in the event of conversion. NOT GUARANTEED*

Overview

Come join the Intuit P&P Shared Services Team as a Business Analyst.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing automated processes to streamline and improve HR operations. You will partner with process owners across the organization to understand current HR business processes, identify gaps and opportunities for improvement, and design automation solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency.

You will document current and future-state HR processes, design optimized workflows, and develop process maps. This role partners closely with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) developers and also performs hands-on development using data analytics tools to deliver data processing pipelines and automation solutions.

You will additionally conduct training sessions and provide ongoing guidance and support to process owners for automated solutions.

This role requires comfort with ambiguity, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proactive mindset to understand end-to-end processes and propose effective solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across teams, geographies, and organizational levels to identify and translate business requirements into scalable automation solutions
  • Lead detailed working sessions with process owners to understand current-state HR processes and clarify automation scope
  • Identify optimization and standardization opportunities and partner with process owners to validate recommendations
  • Document AS-IS and TO-BE processes using flowcharts and process documentation
  • Create Process Design Documents (PDDs) as inputs to RPA and/or APA development and ensure solution designs meet business requirements
  • Design and develop data processing pipelines to support analytics and automation needs
  • Support testing and implementation of automated solutions by creating test cases and validating results with stakeholders
  • Train process owners on automated solutions and ensure adoption
  • Learn and interact with enterprise HR and business systems
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in automation and data tools and share knowledge with the team
  • Become proficient in new automation and data tools adopted by the team
  • Collaborate with the Automation Center of Excellence (COE) to ensure alignment with best practices
  • Develop presentations to share automation success stories with leadership
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment to drive innovation and project success

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent applicable work experience required
  • Experience translating business processes into technical requirements
  • Strong ability to map, document, and optimize complex processes
  • Experience processing and transforming large volumes of data using analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python)
  • UIPath
  • Ability to identify innovative automation opportunities through creative problem-solving
  • Advanced Excel skills; proficient with other Microsoft Office applications
  • Data visualization experience is a plus
  • HR process experience preferred
  • Workday and ADP system experience is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn
