THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're looking for a Marketing Manager who thrives at the strategic and technical intersection of bringing new electrical and thermal equipment to market. While competitors rely on legacy playbooks in a seller's market, your creative sensibility and technical chops will support the establishment of NGEN as a customer-obsessed, solutions-focused brand.
Reporting to the head of Communications and Brand, you'll develop and execute the product marketing strategy, amplify product features and benefits, and collaborate closely with our Sales and Product teams to build tailored assets for sales enablement. While product marketing will be a major focus, this is not a narrowly defined product role as you’ll be consistently contributing to company-wide communications and branding initiatives.

YOUR MISSION:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that support NGEN’s products, solutions, and overall growth goals
- Lead product-related marketing initiatives, including positioning, messaging, and launch support, in collaboration with the Sales and Product teams
- Create and manage sales enablement materials such as product cut sheets, brochures, and case studies
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling marketing narratives
- Partner with Applications Engineers and OEM partners to coordinate technical content and marketing assets
- Lead digital marketing efforts including newsletters, email campaigns, SEO, and AEO
- Help establish repeatable marketing processes and workflows as the company scales
- Present marketing plans, ideas, and updates to internal leadership
- Collaborate closely with the Communications team on storytelling, content, and creative direction
YOU’LL WIN US OVER WITH THIS KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- You have advanced education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- You bring 5+ years of marketing management experience, with at least 2–3 years working with industrial infrastructure, or physical hardware-based products
- Experience in data centers, utilities, electrical infrastructure, energy, or adjacent industries is a strong asset, but not a strict requirement
- You’ve marketed physical products and technical services and understand how different that is from marketing digital or SaaS offerings
- You understand the electrical and cooling infrastructure market and the customer base we’re serving
- You’ve worked closely with engineering, applications, or technical teams and are comfortable translating complex concepts into clear, compelling marketing outputs
- You’ve supported products or solutions across multiple stages of maturity, from early positioning and launch through refinement and scale
- You’ve created and owned core marketing and sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and competitive positioning
- You’ve balanced strategy and execution in your roles, contributing to direction-setting while still rolling up your sleeves to get the work done
- You’ve operated in fast-moving or growth-stage environments where processes weren’t fully built yet and helped shape how things got done

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- Base salary of:
- Applicants living and working in the US: $105,000 - $130,000 USD
- Applicants living and working in Canada: $90,000 - $115,000 CAD
- The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills
- Annual bonus of up to 25% of your base salary, based on performance
- 401k or RRSP match of up to 5% of your base salary

INTERVIEW PROCESS & TIMELINES:

- February 16th to February 20th: A 1-hour meeting with the Head of Communications & Brand and Head of People & Culture
- February 23rd to February 27th: Reference checks and an employment offer extended
