Role Overview
As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for validating web and mobile applications through comprehensive manual testing. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet business and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify functional, usability, and performance issues
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements
- Execute different types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing
- Log, track, and manage defects using defect tracking tools and ensure timely resolution
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and analysts to ensure complete test coverage
- Prepare and share test execution reports and quality status updates with stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to QA standards, testing processes, and best practices
- Support release cycles by validating builds before deployment

Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in manual QA testing
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or TestRai
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
