We are seeking a skilled Golang Backend Developer to join our customer’s team, contributing to AI-assisted developer tools and building robust, scalable backend systems. This remote role combines Go development expertise with hands-on engagement in AI model testing using Cursor.

Job Summary

As a Golang Developer – AI Expert, you will design, implement, and optimize backend services, REST and GraphQL APIs, and collaborate with AI research teams. Your feedback will directly shape the performance and usability of next-generation AI developer tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize REST and GraphQL endpoints for scalable backend APIs.

• Ensure data validation, error handling, and security best practices in backend services.
• Plan and execute database migrations, schema updates, and performance optimizations.
• Test AI-powered models in Cursor, submitting detailed incident reports, bug traces, and screenshots.
• Participate in intensive 4-day testing bursts, evaluating AI impact on real coding workflows.
• Collaborate with the research team via Slack, providing actionable insights and improvement suggestions.
• Submit comprehensive post-burst surveys detailing model performance and developer experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience with strong expertise in Go (Golang).
• Proficient in building and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Advanced understanding of data validation, error handling, and API security.
• Hands-on experience with database migrations, schema design, and performance tuning.
