Job Description

Are you a marketer who doesn’t just talk strategy—but actually builds the engine? Someone who can spot what’s missing, create structure fast, and then own the results? We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who’s equal parts big-picture thinker and hands-on executor—comfortable working directly with senior leadership, making smart decisions, and turning ideas into systems that scale.

You’re strategic, but you’re also a doer. You don’t wait for perfect direction—you create it. One minute you’re refining positioning or mapping a go-to-market plan, the next you’re updating the website, tightening up a funnel, or fixing a process that isn’t working. You care deeply about quality, brand consistency, and performance—and you take pride in building marketing that actually drives pipeline, credibility, and growth.

🚫 This Role Is Not For You If…

  • You prefer working quietly behind the scenes and avoiding conversations
  • You see “speaking up” as risky instead of responsible
  • You want a finance role where you can stay in your lane and not get involved
  • You think admin work is “below you” or something to outsource away
  • You wait for instructions instead of figuring things out
  • You get uncomfortable when things are moving fast, evolving, or a little messy
  • You want rigid processes handed to you instead of helping build and improve them
  • You believe “professional” means serious, stiff, and silent

This is not a spectator role.

We want the person who steps in, takes control, and makes the marketing function work — consistently, measurably, and without needing permission.

If that sounds energizing, you’ll probably love it here.

If it sounds exhausting… this won’t be your place (and that’s okay).

Our Promise:

Marr Media Group has one promise: Meaningful Growth with Great People. We promise this to both our clients and our team. We are not interested in stagnancy, and we’re not interested in growth at any cost; it must be meaningful and we only want to do it with the best people.

Sound like where you want to go? Then keep on reading…

Our Niche:

Building social communities that convert for standout DTC brands.

Our Values:

At Marr Media Group, each one of us lives and breathes our values…

  • We don’t simply wait for direction, we #MakeShitHappen, take initiative and identify new opportunities;
  • We are relentlessly dreaming up new ideas to #KeepItCreative and are always looking for different and better ways to surprise, delight and succeed;
  • We recognize that we all bring different skills and perspectives to the table, and constantly #CollaborateAndConnect as we know two brains are better than one;
  • We know better than to think we know it all, which is why we #StayCurious and always make learning, growing, testing and trying part of the job;
  • We #WorkFreely and design our own optimal and flexible schedules to balance the needs of ourselves, our families and our clients; and last but certainly not least
  • #WeGiveADamn; we care fiercely about the work we do, the team we work with and our clients’ success.

We hire, fire, review, and recognize our team members based on this set of values so it is imperative that you share these values in order to be a part of our team.

The Role & Relationships:

We are hiring a dedicated Marketing Manager to own and scale the agency’s marketing function end-to-end, from strategy and positioning through execution, reporting, and continuous optimization. This role will report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and will serve as the central owner of our marketing engine across key channels including website, email marketing, content and social, event activations, podcasts/PR, and sales enablement.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You’ll translate leadership insights, internal expertise, and proven client results into a clear go-to-market narrative, then build the systems and workflows to consistently execute it. You’ll also own the marketing tech stack, ensure our tools and processes are supporting growth, and deliver performance reporting that ties marketing work to real business outcomes.

This is not a junior role. We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively with the Director of Sales & Marketing on strategy, manage all marketing activities, prioritize effectively, and deliver, with the ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with leadership and sales to ensure marketing supports pipeline, credibility, and revenue growth.

Key Accountabilities:

Marketing Strategy & Direction

  • Own the agency’s marketing strategy and roadmap, including goals, priorities, campaigns, and quarterly planning
  • Define and refine agency positioning, messaging, and go-to-market narrative
  • Build marketing plans that support pipeline growth, credibility, and brand awareness
  • Identify new growth opportunities across channels and partnerships

Website Ownership

  • Fully manage the agency website: structure, content updates, landing pages, and performance improvements
  • Ensure the site stays current, conversion-focused, and aligned with brand/messaging
  • Partner with designers/developers as needed and manage timelines for improvements
  • Monitor SEO basics, site health, and content performance

Email Marketing

  • Own email marketing strategy and execution (newsletters, nurture sequences, campaigns, outbound support)
  • Maintain list hygiene, segmentation, and deliverability best practices
  • Build systems for consistent sends and measurable performance improvements
  • Track results and optimize subject lines, CTAs, and conversion paths

Content Marketing & Social

  • Plan and manage content across social and other channels (LinkedIn, blog, video/podcast clips, etc.)
  • Build a consistent content calendar and publishing workflow in collaboration with our creative team
  • Create and/or coordinate creation of content including:
  • Social posts
  • Webinars
  • Case studies and proof points
  • Articles
  • Campaign assets and lead magnets
  • Maintain brand voice and content quality across all public-facing materials

Events, Activations, Podcasts & PR

  • Lead planning and execution for industry event activations
  • Coordinate sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and booth/event logistics when relevant
  • Organize podcast opportunities (guest appearances), scheduling, outreach, and promotion
  • Manage PR opportunities including relationships, pitching, and press/media coordination as needed

Sales Enablement & Marketing Collateral

  • Maintain and improve core sales enablement assets including:
  • Pitch decks and proposals
  • One-pagers and service overviews
  • Case studies and results summaries
  • Messaging frameworks and positioning docs
  • Ensure sales materials stay aligned with services, offers, and current messaging
  • Collaborate with sales to identify what’s needed to support conversion

Marketing Operations & Tech Stack Ownership

  • Own the marketing tech stack and ensure tools are configured correctly and used effectively
  • Implement and maintain systems for:
  • Lead capture + routing
  • Email automation and segmentation
  • Campaign tracking and attribution basics
  • Reporting dashboards
  • Evaluate new tools and AI; recommend improvements as the agency grows

Reporting, Systems & Process Building

  • Track and report on performance across all channels
  • Define KPIs and build recurring reporting rhythms (weekly/monthly)
  • Build repeatable systems and workflows that scale
  • Work comfortably inside a project management system to plan, execute, and document work

EOS / Team Rhythm

  • Participate in EOS Rocks and special projects as required
  • Attend internal meetings (weekly, quarterly, annually) and contribute to company growth within the EOS system
  • Maintain clear visibility into priorities, progress, and measurable results

Key Measurables (Weekly Performance KPIs):

The Marketing Manager is accountable for consistently meeting the following EOS measurables:

  • Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) Generated: ≥ agreed weekly target
  • MQL → SQL Conversion Rate: ≥ agreed percentage
  • Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) Generated: ≥ agreed weekly target

These metrics are reported on weekly as part of the EOS scorecard.

What You Bring:

Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing (channel strategy, execution, demand gen)
  • Previous experience at a marketing agency, SaaS company, or B2B service provider (required)
  • Proven experience supporting revenue-driving marketing efforts, not just awareness or engagement
  • Proven experience in B2B copywriting

Skills & Strengths

  • Strong B2B copywriting and messaging skills with examples (web, email, landing pages, ads, presentations, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of how marketing supports sales, outbound, and founder-led growth
  • Ability to plan and execute multi-channel campaigns with clear goals and measurable outcomes
  • Strong organizational skills — able to manage priorities, deadlines, and multiple workstreams
  • Confident working independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Experience launching or managing webinars or virtual event
  • Working understanding of SEO, distribution, and performance tracking best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience working with founders or executive thought leadership
  • Familiarity with DTC, ecommerce, and/or performance marketing
  • Familiarity with CRMs and project management tools
  • LinkedIn for B2B lead generation
  • Experience with Asana, Loomly, Pipedrive, Webflow, or Webinar hosting platforms

The Compensation & Perks:

  • Salary: $65,000-$75,000 + discretionary bonus
  • Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • 100% Remote-work
  • Unlimited paid vacation
  • Dental and extended health benefits
  • Technology Expense Account
  • Commission pay program for client referrals
  • Occasional travel for team and/or client events
  • Meaningful growth with great people

Start Date: February 2026
