My client is a fast-growing MedTech scale-up (~100 people, strong engineering focus) developing the worldโs first autonomous blood-drawing robot. With CE approval secured and funding through 2027, they are moving from development into large-scale deployment. Youโll join the Application Team, working closely with engineering and business to make data reliable, traceable, and actionable.

What youโll do
Youโll help build and scale the data backbone behind a regulated, hardware-driven product. Working in a cloud-native setup, youโll design and maintain production-grade ETL and ELT pipelines that support both operational insight and long-term product performance. Day to day, youโll develop Python-based pipelines using modern libraries like Polars, run them in containerised environments, and integrate them with AWS orchestration services. Youโll collaborate closely with a Senior Data Engineer to improve performance and robustness, investigate data issues, extend automated quality checks, and translate requirements into clean datasets and clear dashboards. Thereโs also room to grow into data science, fault analysis, and support for ML and AI workflows embedded in the devices.
Your profile
โข 2+ years of experience with AWS-native services, containers, & DataOps practices.
โข 3โ5 years of experience in data engineering, backend engineering, or analytics focused roles.
โข Strong Python skills.
โข Hands-on experience with ETL or ELT pipelines in data lake or lakehouse environments.
