About The Role

We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our expanding infrastructure team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to develop their skills in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. As a key member of our team, you will support and maintain our AWS-based environments, assist with incident response and troubleshooting, and help optimize our CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with senior engineers, software development teams, and client-facing personnel to ensure our systems are reliable, secure, and scalable. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of professional experience in a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure role, demonstrating hands-on expertise with AWS in a production setting. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves collaboration with technical teams and clients. Candidates should have practical experience working with Kubernetes and Terraform in live environments, along with familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus is also required. AWS certifications are highly desirable, or candidates actively working toward certification will be considered favorably.

Responsibilities

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include supporting and maintaining AWS infrastructure across multiple environments, ensuring high availability and security. You will assist in incident response, troubleshooting, and system monitoring to promptly address operational issues. Managing and improving CI/CD pipelines will be a key focus, enabling seamless deployment processes. Additionally, you will support containerized workloads using Kubernetes, handling operational tasks such as deployments, access management, backups, and logging. Collaboration with senior engineers will be vital to implement best practices related to system reliability, security, and performance. Documenting processes, lessons learned, and fixes will help improve team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
