LaSalle Network is hiring for an Azure Cloud Engineer to help lead a critical modernization initiative focused on cloud-first identity, device management and security. This contract opportunity supports a growing organization transitioning away from Hybrid AD toward a streamlined, Entra-first environment. If you thrive in Microsoft admin portals and enjoy pushing environments forward, this role is built for you.
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in modern workplace transformation — minimizing on-prem dependencies, optimizing group management and improving visibility across Azure and Entra dashboards. This is a high-impact role where your decisions will directly influence how laptops, users and groups are managed moving forward.
What’s the job?
- Test, validate and enable Autopilot and Intune for laptop deployments
- Plan and execute Azure AD (Entra ID) join, moving away from Hybrid AD
- Establish Entra as the Group Source of Authority
- Configure compliance, security and billing controls across Azure and Entra portals
- Build dashboards and reporting for billing, usage and device visibility
- Support a Windows environment of ~300 laptops
